What does the filter remove from the water?

Our shower filter filters out contaminants such as limescale, pesticides, heavy metals, PFAS and nitrates from the shower water.

How is the water filtered?

The filter in DGFLIPS consists of activated carbon, which effectively purifies the water by binding unwanted substances to its surface asthe water passes through.
Activated carbon has an extremely large surface area- up to 2.000 m' per gram - thanks to milions of microscopic pores. Thisgives the filter a strong adsorption capacity, meaning that chemicals, organic pollutants and other impurities are trapped in thepores, while the clean water continues out into the shower.
Over time, these pores fill, which is why the filter should be replaced approximately every 3 months to maintain optimalperformance.

How long does the filter last?

Each refil filter can be used for about 3 months. (If the local water quality is relatively poor, the use time may be shortened to a certain extent)
